At PugSpeak, we believe in and support pug, dog, and pet rescues and shelters. There are countless pugs, dogs, and pet on the planet that have been abandoned. The statistics are alarming and the reasons are too numerous to count. In the end, it really doesn't matter. They need and deserve good loving homes and proper care. We urge everyone (unless you are a professional and responsible breeder and we do believe breeding has its place) to spay or neuter or pug, dog, or cat. And ask yourself this: Is it really fair to your dog or cat to put off spaying or neutering? Is it fair the your pet's offspring? Especially if you cannot care for those puppies or kitties.
When the decision has been made to bring a new pet into the family, please remember pug rescues and pet rescue organizations as an option. Most cities have local shelters and rescues and you might very well find your perfect companion there. And if a pug is right for you, please consider pug rescue as an option. We would be happy to recommend one in your area. Simply email PugSpeak or phone at (913) 403-8009.
And to your left, you will find many wonderful pug rescue and pet shelter organizations nationwide and worldwide.
