Four Pug Boys - Four Eloquent Opinions!
Calling all Pug Owners and Pug Lovers:
Often times, PugSpeak will receive an email from a pug owner with a health or behavior question. Or a pug lover, looking to adopt. In the case of pug health issues, we always refer you to your vet or ask our vet experts.
Do you, as a pug owner, have a question? Does your pug have a burning question or concern?
You've come to the right place! The folks at PugSpeak - with help from the Boys - are ready and willing to offer pug opinions and suggestions. There will be times when they concur and occasions when they will have differing viewpoints. And if we're not sure of the pug question, we will consult the experts.
If your pug or pet has a question, simply email PugSpeak No Bones About It column at pugspeak@sbcglobal.net
We will post your letter below and the Boys will help via their experiences. Stay tuned to No Bones About It to see your answer. Depending on the volume of letters, it may take a few days for PugSpeak to consider and thoughtfully answer each one. But most assuredly, we will respond!
Please note: In the case of a medical or health question, we advise everyone to first consult their veterinarian.
Thanks so much for visiting PugSpeak!

Questions

A question from Gardner, KS from Sleepy in the Suburbs:
"My Mommy started me on a new puppy chow and now I'm always so tired. I crash after every meal. Should my Mommy take me to a vet, or should I tell her to go back to the old puppy chow? Help me!!!"
Dexter: "I would highly recommend speaking with your vet."
Trevor: "I always enjoy a fine nap after a fine meal. However, a change in brands - perhaps a Science Diet or Eukanuba variety."
Mac: "I rarely get tired."
Ian: "I love Dr. Lake at Mission Animal Clinic - I would talk to her!"

And here's a question sent in by Perplexed and Overwhelmed in Overland Park, KS:
"What is the fastest land mammal?"
Dexter: "The Cheetah."
Trevor: "All things being equal, I would have to concur with Dexter, the Cheetah. However, our bro, Mac, could come in a close second."
Mac: " The Cheetah and I are tied."
Ian: "I've met a few fast talkers in my day, but yes, most likely the Cheetah."
